MAGA "Patriots" Reveal Their True Colors [1]

A little more than four years ago a violent mob, incited by a Donald Trump tantrum, invaded the capitol building. The pretext for their insurrection was the fallacious claim, made by Trump, that the election had been stolen from him. Thusly, these violent insurrectionists adopted the mantra, “Stop the steal!” Wearing their red MAGA hats and waving their Don’t Tread On Me flags, they claimed to be patriots fighting for freedom and against tyranny.
Four years later, as Trump blatantly tries to assert dictatorial powers, where are all those “patriots” fighting tyranny? Four years later, as an unelected billionaire steals the personal information of American citizens, where are the cries to “stop the steal”? Where are all those “patriots,” with their Don’t Tread On Me flags, as the individual rights of Americans are being trampled upon?
The servility of those “patriots” says it all, as Trump moves to dismantle the government of the people, by the people and for the people. Their acquiescence is revealing, as they passively grab their ankles and accept a probing by Elon Musk’s DOGE. The Don’t Tread On Me folks are about to discover that the probing, which they have enabled, is going to be much more intrusive than any “treading” they had imagined.
There’s a word for those folks…….
A word that captures their very essence…….
What is it?
What is that word that they loved to throw about?
Um…..
Oh, yes: Sheeple. How appropriate.
