Why the CBS Poll is 2/3 right: it's just BS [1]

Two surveys came out on Friday that directly contradict the CBS poll that gave the ‘amazingly’ high Trump approval rate of 53%. That’s right, Trump-turds are falling all over themselves because the POS allegedly has over 50% approval for the first time in his life. In a traditional political world, that would not be surprising. The POS has only been President for 3 weeks (I know, it feels like an eternity of chaos) and is having a honeymoon. But not so fast. Dailykos buried the lede on its own survey which showed Trump just NOT THAT POPULAR.
But actually there were two other polls out Friday that confirm this kind of result. First, the University of Michigan Survey of Consumers showed an alarming and dramatic decrease in consumer satisfaction with the economy and increase in fear over the economy and inflation. This survey has been around for close to 75 years and is well respected for its accuracy in predicting recessions. Second, the Pew Research Institute also came out with a poll on Friday that showed the POS’s approval rating at only 47%--though to be sure it said it’s the highest the POS has ever had.
Finally, why think CBS is now an honest player? They just paid Trump a bribe over 60 Minutes. Fascism can’t exist without corporatist support. CBS is owned by a corporation that apparently is more interested in access and wealth than it is in truth. They don’t deserve the benefit of the doubt.
