Stumbled On a Song I'd Never Heard Before [1]

Like many of us, I’ve been feeling afraid and discouraged more often than not over the past 3 weeks. As a man turning 70 y.o. in April, I often turn to music from the 60s and early 70s when I need distraction from the cruelty and destruction going on down the road from me in DC (I’m in suburban MD). I usually play a preselected play list (including recent hip-hop/R&B/pop music that I’ve taken a liking to), but last night I decided to go with a random selection of 60s music.
A song I’ve never heard before came up in the queue, which turned out to be written by Peter Yarrow. He performs it in the video below. Something about it just made me stop and listen. I could feel the chaos and fear I’d been experiencing the last 21 days fade, from listening to this song of hope. I hope you all experience it the way I did, and that it gives you the strength to face these times.
