The trademarked football game is now behind us. And so are pennies, apparently. That is, unless there’s still a Congress and a Constitution, in which case, they’re supposed to weigh in on this thing.
It’s now just 33 days until the “legal” funding for the United States government runs out.
And there are 1,440 days remaining in Trump’s legal term of office.
The Invasion Bingo random country generator says today’s an unlucky day for: Vatican City! Yes, the Holy See!
I do feel like that’s extraordinarily unlikely, as I’m not certain Trump knows they’re technically a sovereign country over there. But I’m sticking with it. I’ve got a weird vibe about it. Partly because the Random Country Generator actually gave me Laos again, the first time I clicked today. But also, there’s a real possibility that JD Vance’s weird brand of Catholicism might put him in direct conflict with the Vatican at some point. Possibly as soon as today!
We’ll see what Greg Dworkin has to say about things when he drops by. Batting weekend cleanup is always an adventure in the Trump era.
