How Can I Keep Track?
You don’t have to. All of the actions by Criminal Trump and his (illegitimate) crew are in furtherance of one key goal: Treason.
All of these are different ways of destroying the government of the United States, and by doing that, destroy the nation.
When we respond to these initiatives, the response should be to attack their fundamentally treasonous purpose. It’s only when the American people understand this purpose that they will be enraged enough to properly respond by cleaning out the corruption.
Treason at Every Turn
Why is all this treason? Let’s look at each Trump initiative.
Tariffs
Tariffs can help or hurt trade. If you levy a moderate tariff on an industry or a sector and implement it over a sensible period of time, you can encourage more domestic production within that part of the economy. If an enemy (or even a frenemy) is taking too much production from some type of product, you can protect domestic industry with a tariff.
Not a single announced tariff fits that pattern. These are sudden, extreme tariffs. And half of them are on our friends (Canada and Mexico), not even a frenemy (like China, maybe, if you look at them from an extreme distance).
Who are these tariffs intended to help? Our enemies. Helping our enemies is treason.
USAID
The net effect of shutting down USAID is to vacate the playing field for our enemies, chiefly China. It is a solid disaster for U.S. national defense.
Why would anyone want to do this? The only believable reason is to harm the U.S. and thus help our enemies. Helping our enemies is treason.
Gaza
The humanitarian disaster in Gaza cries out for strong leadership in restoring peace there. There is only one route to peace. The Palestinians need to give up the goal of destroying Israel and choose an honorable goal—followed by the international community helping them reach that goal.
Suggesting theft of their land is right on brand for Criminal Trump, but it turns the entire world community against the United States. Who does this help? You guessed it: our enemies.
Abortion
The entire point of the anti-abortion movement is to divide Americans against each other.
If you have gone to the Lord in prayer and you asked in all sincerity what to do about abortion and the answer you got was to do everything in your power to stop it, then I respect that. That’s your personal, private spiritual and religious experience.
But that’s not why abortion is a political issue. It’s a political issue because of money. Politicians (and let’s not be artificially balanced here)—Republican politicians use the issue to raise money and get votes.
If it were just a minor political squabble, that would be one thing. But this is used to divide and thereby weaken the country. It is helpful to our enemies.
Are you beginning to see a pattern?
January 6th
Remember January 6th, 2021? The Trumpettes want you to forget.
Criminal Trump pardoned everyone involved in the insurrection. He is collecting a list of everyone in the Justice Department who took part in investigations and prosecutions of the insurrectionists. This to harass or harm them. And in the ProPublica article, we learn they’ve decided to delete a DOJ database of cases against Capitol riot defendants.
The insurrection culminated in a violent attack on the Capitol that attempted to stop democracy in its tracks and take over the government. A violent attempt to take over the government or force it to do something is, by definition, an insurrection.
And an insurrection, by its nature, is treason.
A lot of people have cited Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment as making Donald Trump ineligible to hold office because he participated in an insurrection. But I want to call your attention to a separate clause in that section:
…or given aid or comfort to the enemies thereof…
To put that in context, what the Constitution says is that you cannot hold office (civil or military at the state or federal level) if you give aid or comfort to someone who participated in an insurrection (as an enemy “thereof”).
Giving comfort to any insurrectionist, like someone who has violently invaded the Capitol, by saying you love them would disqualify you from office, like the office of the President.
Why would the Constitution have this provision? Because siding with insurrectionists is treason. It is literally giving aid and comfort to our enemies.
The ICC
Criminal Trump is sanctioning anyone working for the International Criminal Court. He signed an EO “imposing sanctions on the International Criminal Court (ICC) over its investigations of Israel, a close US ally.”
This isn’t because the ICC is some kind of criminal cabal. It isn’t even because they want Israeli PM Benajmin Netanyahu to stand trial for war crimes. IMO.
It’s because Trump is trying to undermine the rule of law. And in particular, he knows that certain persons in certain far off European/Asian countries, might be subject to criminal prosecution for the crime of aggression if international rule of law prevailed.
This is another way in which Donald J. Trump is a traitor to the United States and our Constitution, adhering to our enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
Bonus Destruction
Another way to aid our enemies is to weaken our government. I give you the Trump Picks (per Axios):
JD Vance: Vice president
Marco Rubio: State
Scott Bessent: Treasury
Pete Hegseth: Defense
Pam Bondi: Attorney general
Doug Burgum: Interior
Brooke Rollins: Agriculture
Howard Lutnick: Commerce
Lori Chavez-DeRemer: Labor
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.: HHS
Scott Turner: Housing
Sean Duffy: Transportation
Chris Wright: Energy
Linda McMahon: Education
Doug Collins: Veterans affairs
Kristi Noem (dog murderer): Homeland security
Susie Wiles: Chief of staff
Lee Zeldin: EPA
Tulsi Gabbard: National intelligence
Jamieson Greer: U.S. Trade
Elise Stefanik: UN
Kelly Loeffler: Small business
Russ Vought: OMB
John Ratcliffe: CIA
Go ahead. Point to one of them that doesn’t weaken the federal government, just by their presence in an official position. You can’t, can you?
What Media?
If we had an honest media in the United States, that media would call treason treason. They would point out the extent to which Criminal Trump is wrecking the country, weakening us for the picking of a foreign enemy.
So, when you watch or read or listen to media and social media, take a moment to consider whether you are seeing that understanding reflected in what you are receiving.
I have yet to see real understanding from our media. I’m not sure they get the picture.
That’s Such a Harsh Word
It’s true. Treason is a harsh word. I’m not using it lightly or as vernacular. I’m using it in its technical definition as presented in the Constitution and federal statutes: Adhering to our enemies, giving them aid and comfort.
One of the reasons we have this traitor in office is because we were not entirely direct when he started committing acts of treason during his last term. When he withheld security aid from Ukraine, he was adhering to Russia, giving them aid and comfort.
That’s why “treason” should have been the first article of impeachment.
When confronting a dangerous enemy, don’t pull punches. Step forward and cut them down with one blow.
Further Reading
If you are not satiated by what I’ve written, consider reading this piece by Clio2 linking Putin, Trump, and Musk. He discusses why Putin has hated the U.S. for decades.
But, frankly, I think Donald Trump has hated the U.S. for decades. His problem is that we purport to be a democracy. This is totally anathema to Trump, who thinks he’s better than everyone else (you included). The concept of democracy is that everyone is created equal.
That’s really irritating to someone who looks down on everyone else.
Trump doesn’t commit treason because he likes Putin or admires him. He just hates our country and wants to destroy it. Treason in Trump doesn’t come from some deep-seated ideological purpose. It’s just petty.
