So this has been a hell of a couple of weeks, and it’s getting to me. Between the ridiculous people being put up for major government positions to the unelected foreign born illegal who lied on his citizenship application and his little band of incel weird boys tearing down as much as they can as fast as they can — I’m overwhelmed.
Add to that my truck is back in the shop — it’s not been a good week. I ended up being shorted by my therapist a session earlier in the week because other people were in crisis, and then it was my turn yesterday to have a chance to talk. As someone who is gay, trans and Jewish, I’m seriously concerned about my future in this country.
Not that I have a lot of options — I’m too old to immigrate to most countries, as well as too poor, and there is a lot of antisemitism around the world right now on top of it. So I am here for the long haul, I don’t really have any other options than a war zone, and that’s a no from me.
The dems really need to step up and work in unison right now, and that’s just not going to happen, so nothing is going to be stopped. elon doesn’t give a shit about legal rulings when he can push through security and just backdoor every IT system the government has for China and Russia — it will take years to recover if we can recover at all.
I’m so sick of this term, and it’s been less than a month. God help us all.
