Trump says that's the last straw! [1]

Straws are suddenly in the national spotlight. President Biden had mandated that single use plastics like utensils and straws would be eliminated from the federal food service by 2027 and most all government operations by 2035.
Donald Trump has a different idea. Since he doesn't care about pollution and the environment, he's decided we can keep using our plastic straws as long as he is in power.
He's right about paper straws. They don't work. They will unravel in 30 minutes or less. If a coating is put on them to make them last longer, it ruins the taste of your drink.
Metal straws are reusable, but with hot drinks, they get hot.
I should be patenting a reuseable fiberglass straw. I think everyone has missed that material.
Seeing how it getting rid of plastic waste was something Biden wanted to do, Trump wants to reverse it.
Elon Musk also had to get in on the act. "Greatest President ever" for bringing back plastic straws. I had no idea the bar was so low for greatest. Oh, yeah, they didn't have plastic during Washington and Lincoln's presidencies, so they couldn't be the greatest.
But Trump wasn't finished.The lack of plastic straws bothered him so much, he had to get up at 4:16 a.m. to let the country know he was working on the problem.
"MANDATE" for the whole country, it wasn't. But, to Trump, everything Biden ever did is a crisis. Why should he stop now? He still has to say Crooked Joe. Wasn't taking away Biden's security clearance enough?
He had to curse the imaginary offense in all caps, "NO PLASTIC STRAWS, ONLY PAPER, IS DEAD!" Trump is so happy about everything he does to thwart his nemesis. The one man who showed Trump what a loser he was.
"Enjoy your next drink without a straw that disgustingly dissolves in your mouth!!!" Three exclamation points to let you know how important the action is.
The next crisis for Trump will be the paper cups the plastic straws go with. So far, it looks like Wendy's and Starbucks have gone to reuseable plastic cups, but how many are reused is a question. There was a test last year in Petaluma, California with reuseable cups stamped with "Sip. Return. Repeat." And bins set up for people to drop them off. From Ausust through October, it kept 200,000 cups from going into the landfill.
My cup runneth over and over again. The next frontier.
Until then, we can be assured that Trump will keep us from the scourge of paper straws.
Because Biden did it!
