Yet one more vile utterance from the guy who sits at the Resolute Desk [1]

Just now went in search of any mentions of this story, what I’m calling a vile utterance, on Daily Kos and didn't find any. Doesn't mean there were none; I may have missed it/them.

I should be working on a book I'm writing, but instead, I found myself watching Farron Cousins on Farron Balanced a few minutes ago. Cousins was talking about the utter weirdness of Trump blithely mouthing off about obliterating Iran should they assassinate him. He contended that there is psychosis in plain sight, um, no fooling Farron, and he wondered whether anyone else was seeing this. That is, Trump is suffering from paranoid delusions.

Again, no disrespect meant, just, right, no fooling, right there in front of us. So, fine.

But what I haven't seen anywhere at all is this: Trump is one man. One human being. One person. Never mind he's president. That is irrelevant. He is still only one person.

And Iran is a nation of 92 million people. Please let that sink in. Ninety-two million human beings.

All of whom should, according to this orange buffoon, be obliterated if He is assassinated. That isn't revenge. Or retribution. Or even the "balancing" the scales that Israel does when one of their own is killed. It's not at all easy to find these statistics, so let me substitute this: during the recent war, Israel justified killing ~100 innocent Palestinians when they went after 20 Hamas and jihadi soldiers. There are other examples of unbalanced killing, but the point remains: how do you justify killing, or as Trump says, obliterating 92 million people?

Thus, Cousins is correct. This guy is suffering from paranoid delusions. And grandiosity on a scale we've likely never seen before. This level of superiority, a belief in his value as worth 92 million deaths, ought to scare the bejesus out of us. We know he is dangerous. We know he is likely turning the corner from the beginnings of dementia to the advancing stage labeled middle stage. But he makes these crazed statements and it appears few in positions of power even blink?

Gonna contend here that the biggest reason his crazy crap on just taking Gaza, tearing it to the ground, using our own troops to do it, and then making it in effect the Riviera of the Middle East got so much notice was that it was impossible for the media to miss Netanyahu's reaction to his insane statement. Otherwise, this may not have received much coverage at all.

So then, the biggest point of this? Why are millions of us at least seeing and understanding this but the folks so many Americans have sent to Congress are not? This guy is nuts. He's dangerous. He is breaking the law left and right and the headlines this morning include that he and his minions may just blow past all court injunctions and decisions. And on top of this, Congress, well, the Republicans to be clear, are happily voting for folks as cabinet secretaries almost as nuts and dangerous as Trump is. Sheesh, but maybe all of these Republicans are suffering from St. Anthony's Fire?........you know, ergot poisoning from fungal contamination of rye grains that created a psychosis over centuries and killed millions during the Dark Ages, Medieval and even Renaissance periods of history.

Facetious here, sure, you bet. More likely this blind eye has to do with the embracing of cult beliefs. Regardless though, Trump is at this point the biggest threat the world is facing, and his followers, minions and elected officials are going to be responsible along with him if he has left an order demanding the nuking of an entire country—after his death, and they just go along with it. Then what do we do? If there’s anything left of our planet, that is.
