Photo Diary: A Walk at Lake Seminole Park, St Pete FL [1]

Lake Seminole Park has always been one of my favorite places to take an afternoon walk. There’s always lots of birdies and wildlife to see here.
The park got pounded during the hurricanes last October though, and was closed for repairs. It just opened back up again.
Some photos from a walk.
I am fortunate that Pinellas County has a very nice system of parks and nature preserves
Playground for the kids
Looks like they took the opportunity to add some new sidewalk along one of the lakes
There are several lakes and ponds here, with Lake Seminole being the biggest
Picnic pavilion

Walking/biking path, about two miles long
An Osprey has “fish” for lunch
Turkey Vulture with the leftovers

Anhinga. The brown neck means it’s a girl.

A pair of Coots
These little warbler-things all look the same to me, but I think this is a Yellow-Rumped Warbler—they usually show up here over winter
