It's time Arizona had a leader who represents its values and its people, not just a rubber stamp for the Republican party’s agenda. While Juan Ciscomani has been busy cozying up to the most extreme elements of his party, consistently prioritizing obstruction over progress, JoAnna Mendoza has been building an impressive record of service, not to mention the type of leadership qualities that are not found in Ciscomani's profile.
You don't have to look far to see that where Ciscomani has faltered, Mendoza has excelled. Where Ciscomani’s career has been marked by a series of politically expedient votes and blatant disregard for Arizona's natural resources, Mendoza’s is rooted in unwavering dedication to public service. Unlike Ciscomani's career which has shown a weakness for siding with the most dangerous elements within his party (as seen in the photo to the right), Mendoza’s career has been built on principles of honor, integrity, and results-driven leadership.

Mendoza isn't a political opportunist; she's a proven leader who has walked the walk. As a retired Marine and drill instructor with multiple combat tours, she's demonstrated her courage and dedication to protecting our country. Her time in the Marine Corps taught her a very specific type of leadership that is not often found in politics. The rigid discipline, unwavering commitment to principles, and ability to solve problems that she acquired in the service is something that we need more of in our government.
JoAnna did not stop serving after her time in the military, her service continued in government, community advocacy, and public affairs. Where Ciscomani's voting record shows a clear disregard for Arizona's vulnerable communities, Mendoza has built her career lifting them up. She’s worked to improve the lives of children in foster care, to uplift adults with special needs, and to advocate for Arizona’s veterans.
Where Ciscomani’s platform has become synonymous with obstruction, Mendoza's record clearly shows that she understands that leadership isn't about tearing things down; it's about building them up. She was instrumental in championing economic equity, which is important in Arizona communities. She understands that the community in Arizona needs new opportunities and investment to thrive.
It's clear to anyone who is paying attention that JoAnna Mendoza is the exact type of person that we need representing Arizona in the halls of Congress. Her distinguished career, proven record of service, and commitment to her community prove that she will be an effective representative.
