It is becoming increasingly clear that my current lenses and assumptions are sadly outdated. Concepts such political parties, government assistance, legal/illegal, even citizen/immigrant no longer have meaning. We are all rubes for the grifting, or enemies to be defeated. The rulers of the ruling class - the Musk-led billionaires and their useful idiots, are aspiring dictators that see our country as a mere seat of power from which to work towards global power and accumulation of wealth. We are in the middle of class warfare on steroids. We are beyond constitutions, institutions, and voting.
Image that we could all unite. The poor, the middle class and even marginally rich, Black, White, Brown, gay, straight, citizens, migrants, workers, disabled – I really mean all – could end coup this if we stop being divided by the differences, exploited by the powerful and super-wealthy.
I believe that this is a class struggle on steroids and has moved beyond republican/democrat/progressive. Try looking at this through that lens and see if it does not make a lot more sense than our traditional perspective.
