Protests 101: What to bring, how to prepare-a crowdsource [1]

This is not a diary that is telling people what to bring and how to prepare. This is meant to be an open thread to crowdsource information on the subject. Please comment if you plan to go tomorrow and what you think is important to try to prepare for the problems that I anticipate.

Some thoughts so far from what I have read:

-goggles

-milk

-water

-steel-toed boots

-face coverings?

Anybody?

I want to go but I am in Texas, not young, and I am scared. I also do not have most of these things. Anyone who has anything to contribute here, please do so in the comments.
