Can we save the 2026 election? [1]

My question is genuine: How can we save the 2026 election?

First, I’m going to post this and go away for a day. I can’t do any more news/politics for the next 24 hours, and I need to prep to visit my senators Wednesday.

But I’m serious. Rump told us what he intended to do, and is doing it. I didn’t expect the speed or the breadth of the attacks, and I honestly didn’t believe half of it because 1) I can’t stand to listen to or watch him so I wasn’t paying close attention; and 2) most of what he promised is illegal, unconstitutional, or so far out of left field that it seems like a fever dream.

But here we are.

So I think we need to take his “You’ll never have to vote again” remark as a clear statement of his intention to cancel the mid-terms.

Nobody is even thinking about this; instead it’s all about how we can take back the House. But how do we do that if we can’t vote?

We need to get a strategy up and running NOW so we can get the word out.
