It’s here to stay until I decide it’s not. Let me tell you why.

One is that I believe that liberty and justice for all is the highest of human values. Thus the eagle.
Two is that I believe that sexually assaulting people is wrong. Thus the pussy hat.
Three is that I believe that taking what is not yours is wrong. Thus the Ukrainian flag.

The country I’ve known all my life no longer exists. Right now we are in a transition. No one knows, not Trump or Musk or Putin or Xi or Schumer or Pelosi or Obama or AOC or fill-in-your-own-blank here, not one of them knows how it’s gonna turn out. Neither do you. Neither do I.
But what was is gone.
That’s for sure.

Somebody’s gonna rebuild it when the storm is over.

I damn sure intend to be one of those people, and I’m looking for people who have strong values, compatible with the values I stated above. Those are my faves. There are other faves held by other people. I’m looking for people whose values I can support to work with me. I don’t know how it’s gonna work, but it’s gonna work.
