Each American state will become a province.
The merged nation will be called the Canadian United Provinces (CUP).
The UPC will be a member of the Commonwealth.
The Constitution of the United States and the Articles of Confederation shall be governing documents with any conflicts to be negotiated prior to union.
The United States must apologize for past disloyalty to the Crown..
The current King of Canada will be the King of the CUP to be represented by a Governor General with powers equal to those of the current Canadian Governor General.
The US House of Representatives will be replaced by a Parliament with rules and structure conforming to the current rules of the Canadian Parliament.
Provinces will be represented by two Senators each and the Senate will retain the rules and structure of the current Senate of the United States.
The national anthem will be Oh Canada (or Blame Canada, if you wish).
The new flag will be a combination of the current US, Canadian, French and UK flags each occupying one quadrant of the new flag.
The current Gulf of Mexico/America will be renamed the Gulf of Canada.
