Just thinking through this whole working class thing [1]

There have been thousands of articles about how the dems have to radically change because they are losing the working class.

so I am thinking this through.

lets say the democratic economic plan is better for the working class. And all economists agree. Meanwhile the trump plan, which emphasized tariffs, is essentially a tax on everyone.

Today we can watch the stock market fall which will impact companies like ford and gm. And at some point the tariffs will force ford and gm to layoff workers.

but the working class erroneously subscribes to trump theory. Not to sound like a liberal elitist, but the working class probably doesn’t have deep understanding of economics.

this does sound a bit elitist! But anyways the question is, why should the dems change if they are kind of correct.
