What I would like to hear/read one national Democratic Party leader say-
“Donald Trump poses a clear and present danger to democracy, to our way of life, to the safety of this entire flat earth. He is not just breaking norms or wind, he is breaking laws each and every day. When he pardoned 1600 violent convicts and had them released from prison, he created his own version of brown shirts. Loyal, grateful and ready to do us harm. They all had prior criminal histories, some involving violence. And he freed them all? It was not just madness, it was, is and will be vile and evil to do that. The damage he is inflicting on most of America with the release of those thugs, traitors and criminals was simply beyond our imaginations. Until today. Then he removes secret service protections against actual patriots whose lives are currently at risk. Not imaginary risk, but actual, real, current, life threatening risk! Add those two events together, and think maybe one of the 1600 might celebrate his freedom using highly accellerated pieces of lead? At several people (thanks to Reich wing media) whose current homes are pictured on certain websites? Where is the outrage from the Raw and Hoarder Party?
“That alone should have created an uproar across this country. Instead, especially from my party, from our leadership, and I sadly admit this, from me personally, our silence and utter failure to rise up and act, constitutes the greatest example of political malpractice, on the grandest scale ever. We have failed our country, we have failed you personally, and we have failed ourselves.
“As an (congress-critter, senatwhore, insert office and name here) for so many years, I should have recognize and predicted the harm this crazy man is committing each and every day. I should have been warning you, loud and clear. I failed you and I apologize. If we act now, perhaps we can save our country. But if we do not, i see horrible things, unnecessary things, deadly things happening to us soon.
“He is a danger to us all. We need to have him removed within our constitutional background and in accordance to our rules.
“Please forgive me. If you still pray to a god, ask him/her/it to bless this nation, although I suspect it might be too late.
