Can Democratic Congresspeople go shadow Trump/DOGE? [1]

I am not in the camp that wants to spend a lot of time criticizing Democratic leaders. IMHO most of that criticism comes from disappointment about past failures and unrealistic expectations of what they can do right now.

I am however, interested in getting ideas about what they can actually do right now to slow down destruction that is going on in the government. One thing that occurs to me is that if DOGE can gain access to sensitive systems, why can’t they do the same?

I’d like to see them demand access to whatever DOGE has access to, and livestream whatever happens. Tag Elon Musk, try to get on TV, Facebook whatever.

If they get told they lack clearance maybe then can just stay at these offices until someone explains it to them. I suspect that a lot of the DOGE people lack training, security clearance, etc. to do what they are doing. It would be worth trying to bring attention to the public that this is YOUR data they are grabbing and are going to use against YOU.

There was a story about Senate Ds blocking everything which I can't find now, and hopefully this could accompany that. Just block all ordinary business of any sort until all of these activities are explained and brought to light. Also this great story about calling Congress — I’m in DC but if others advise I’m happy to call anywhere.

One big problem is that I have no idea how to bring that to the attention of any of the Congresspeople. If anyone has ideas on it would great.
