The picture above basically says it all. This should be a good motto for the Daily Kos community.
Please stop sitting at a computer around the clock and constantly expressing your frustrations. You still have the right to do so, but please keep it limited. The fact of the matter is that it is not doing a darn bit of good as far as offering any solutions. It is not a means of effective messaging.
Now is the time to start getting physically involved. Here are just a few ways you can do so:
Volunteer at your Democratic Party’s local office.
Make phone calls.
Write letters and cards.
Go door to door and distribute flyers, leaflets, and pamphlets.
Attend/organize meetings and community events.
Attend/organize rallies and marches.
Volunteer to work at a polling place.
VOTE.
It is never too early to start doing this. We have zero time to waste. In fact, Belle of the Ranch nailed it in the YouTube video below.
Remember, our Democratic Republic will die only if we allow it to . True, democracy in this country is on life support right now, but we are the doctors, and we can heal our country if we do our part.
Not all hope is lost.
