It's all The Government's fault [1]

Hello world! I wanted to share a bit of my private thinking with my fellow resistance fighters today. Going forward, I think there a few things we should pay attention to when it comes to how we express ourselves. Especially how we do so when we talk to the Trump supporters, whether they be friends and family, or internet anons. These are all suggestions, please treat them as such.

You see, Trump has managed to do something incredible with his followers, something many don’t yet realize. He’s managed to install a little device, a little pre-filter, in the ears of all his followers. Now, I’m not a doctor, I don’t know how it all works, but it has something to do with auditory ossicles.

But you may be wondering at this point what the device does. I don’t blame you.

It acts as a kill switch of sorts. When it senses negative input, the switch is flipped, and consequently, nothing can get past the filter. What this means to us is that when you talk to a Trump supporter and you start talking shit about Trump, or about MAGA, the switch is instantly flipped and they can no longer hear you. You can wear yourself out trying to get through, but nothing will get past it… not facts, not reality, not even more of lies and propaganda, even if they come from you. It effectively shuts off all input to the brain. It is very effective.

So, we have to find a way to get past the filter, and here is the beautiful part: whether they realize it or not, the people with the new filters are already primed to hate the government; you just can’t call it Trump’s government. What we have to realize is that this group of people has already been brainwashed and programmed to hate the government — in its entirety. Just a couple of months ago many of them were ready to raid their weapons lockers, and raise arms against the government; they were excited about a civil war, they were salivating for it. You say ‘government’ and their blood pressure immediately goes up.

We have to use that against them, because the conditioning is already there. It’s all in place already. And we didn’t even condition them, we can just use it.

From this point on, I would recommend not saying Trump did this or Trump did that. Or MAGA did this or that. You’ll just make sure they don’t hear you. From now, everything is the government’s fault. The price of eggs goes up, the government did it to us. You can’t buy a car or a house… unfortunately, that’s how the government wants it. You lost a friend to bird flu, or whatever else may be coming, the government doesn’t protect Americans. Everything from now on is the government’s fault, not Trump’s fault. Not MAGA, it is all The Government.

That is if you want to get across to them, and at the same time use their programming against them. It won’t work on all, but it will work on some.

This brings me to another topic. This is about how to refer to Trump followers when not engaging with them. So far, we’ve been calling them MAGA or MAGAs, or some more creative variant of that. I’ve been thinking that was just not good enough for me, going forward.

If I refer to them as MAGA, it’s just too broad of a term. It’s like I’m referring to the whole entity, the whole movement, while giving a pass to the individuals that comprise it. Equally, if I say MAGA but add an ‘s’ at the end to make it MAGAs, it still has that broad feeling. It needs to be more personal. And easier to write. And usable by all, including them.

From now, and I do urge others to consider this, I will call them Magas. Capital M, the rest lower case. Like Nazis. Capital N, the rest lower case. But they don’t have to make that connection, and if they don’t, you don’t have to explain it.

I think this brings it down a notch to a more personal level. Books are going to be written about these people for decades to come, we can’t keep calling them MAGAs. My feeling on this is keep MAGA for the whole movement, but individuals are Magas. Always capitalized. I intend to start using it that way. You do you.
