I'm back - thinking first about Divestiture and Boycotts and then trench warfare [1]

I needed to separate myself a bit from here after the Obama years for my mental health but I am back — although I have no real presence or audience here, I will attempt to document the thoughts in my head where others might agree, disagree, or provide constructive input



First off, I’m working under the premise that we’re basically in a coup takeover — Musk is using his influence as head of Government to try to get his oligarch hands into the computers of our financial system, and they’re going to do everything possible to turn America into a land of serfs and fucking ignoramuses. Many have speculated the end game is a takeover of the banking system for his own platform — and would corporate finance allow it if the CEO’s and Boards got rich in the process? Are you kidding?

I’ve been thinking a lot about divestiture — ending subscriptions to Paramount+ despite loving Star Trek because a company that would pay an obvious sure win over the 60 minutes lawsuit to move forward with a merger gets no more of my dollars. FB/IG are also on the chopping block. In fact at this point all corporate media is susceptible

Considering alternative vendors for almost everything other than Amazon after Bezos neutered the WaPo — shit I’d rather buy direct from China at this point.

Boycott, divest, and aggressively avoid all things from the oligarchy at this point is where my head is. I feel like the world should look at getting off the Dollar as the world reserve currency. We got that privilege in part because we fought Fascism in WWII — now that we’re embracing it again, we’ve lost the moral high ground to be the ones who define the financial system.

typing these thoughts today is still legal but in a few months it may be construed as giving aid and comfort to the enemy — I say we make the fuckers pay for every inch they take

Our Democratic congressmen and women need to find a way to gum up the works — revoke unanimous consent — filibuster everything. Our media efforts need to be driving a wedge between the Head of State (Trump) and head of Government (Musk) and highlighting all the pain the new tariffs will do to Red states. Turn the Cultists against Dear Leader and let them feel the pain too. This trying to do nothing to wait for Midterms is unacceptable — fight or get the fuck out of the seat.

and Finally, if i were to have my way, nominate AOC for president in 2028 — she’s the one i’m most proud of right now. She’s smart, knows media, and I think despite our terrible track record of running women, the country will be ready after this narcissist fucker. Don’t give me that defeatist “aw cute you think we’l have elections in 4 years” bullshit either. It means you’re giving up.

Avoid physical violence — it’ll get us martial law and our skulls cracked and imprisioned while the Jan 6th brownshirts won’t be prosecuted. Hit them where it hurts — in their wallet — General Strikes, Boycotts, Filibusters, and civil disobedience until Musk is removed as head of Government. Fuck his shitty trucks too.

My father has been gone for years, and I’m glad he wasn’t here for this shit, but I remember one of the things he used to say and I’m going to take it to heart — “God hates a Coward” — and he doesn’t, of course, but his work will not be made manifest by scared men and women.
