Drumphf goes full Mask-Off Fascist with purge of FBI [1]

When a Cllmate-Change Fueled Hurricane hit North Carolina Drumph attacked FEMA and claimed they weren’t helping the people, even though they were. When there was a terrorist attack in New Orleans he blamed “DEI” by the FBI and immigration even though the attacker was a US Citizen. When a Cllimate Change Fueled Firestorm hit Southern California he blamed a water-policy by Governor Newsom that didn’t exist, mismanagement and DEI by the Mayor and LAFD leadership. Even though he had fired the FAA Administrator -- for grounding Elon Musk’s SpaceX Starship until they explain why their last rocket blew up — and had not even submittted a replacement, he had fired the head of the TSA and FAA Aviation security board, just before sending out a “buy out” offer to every federal employee when Air Traffic Control staffing at Reagan International Airport was dramatically low just as a mid-air collision occurred over the Potomac he rants that the cause of the crash is "Diversity."
It doesn't matter what the real problem is, whether it's increased weather events or chronic draught, whether it's a radicalized American or his own contempt and neglect leading to far too many overworked staffers -- he points the finger elsewhere. Always.
Now he's pointing viciously at the heart of the FBI preparing to gut their ranks by threatening thousands of rank-in-file agents.
First 30 Prosecutors were purged.

The D.C. Field Office, in particular, has seen a wave of firings. It comes as the acting head of Trump's Justice Department is also moving to eliminate the jobs of prosecutors who handled the Jan. 6 cases and worked with special counsel Jack Smith. "Trump’s DOJ Deputy AG is ordering the FBI Acting Secretary to create a blacklist of officers for termination because they LAWFULLY INVESTIGATED an insurrection at the Capitol that resulted in severe injuries and deaths, including of law enforcement," wrote Crockett, a former public defender, on X. "Instead of respecting the acts and contributions of the FBI for holding people to account for desecrating the hallowed halls of Congress, my Republican colleagues are now cheering for their removal." "LET’S BE CLEAR: Firing these experienced law enforcement officers is a victory for lawlessness, organized crime, and corruption," she continued. "It is a get out of jail free card for the drug smugglers, human traffickers, child exploiters, and violent extremists that the FBI investigates." "But most importantly, tonight is a tragedy for the rule of law," Crockett concluded.
These firings are illegal, they are without merit or cause. They can be fought in court but it will take time — meanwhile, most of the agents will not have qualified for their pensions yet. They and their families will be left out in the cold.
Violent criminals who attacked the Capitol have been set free. They’ve been called “hostages” and “patriots.” The people who did their job to put them behind bars are being rewarded by being thrown out into the street. Left vulnerable to the raging mob of brownshirts in the same way that Capitol police were.
Can you imagine that they won’t feel emboldened and empowered by this?
Can you imagine how dispirited the effort to protect us or even themselves from the spectre of domestic fascist violence will be?
This will certainly be a problem in the short term, but after all these prosecutors and agents will and are reinstated following their very legitimate wrongful termination suits — things will be very interesting then.
