Can we not use AI art? [1]

I am a disabled freelance artist and writer, so whenever I see articles on here using AI Images, most of which are made by sources that have stolen art from artists around the world and then uses an algorithm to regurgitate that stolen artwork into a new form it kinda makes me, and probably all other artists using places like this, to feel a form of anger and depression. Freelance artists already make crap money and with AI sources are making even less, and their art is being stolen to make said AI images.

I bring this up because I’ve seen at least like one post every other week on here that uses AI art. And AI art is theft, you may not think it is… but it is.
