I was blocked on the Prescott Arizona city email web site after sending this letter a second time.
Mayor Goode and Councilman Moore,
You recently came to our class.
I wanted to ask you a question but did not want to embarrass you with a surprise question that you may not have been ready to answer. So, I am asking it now. I would appreciate a response.
I am 15. I have a part time job.
Here is the question.
Why do I have to pay sales taxes on my purchases in Prescott?
Since I am a minor and unable to vote, Why should I be subjected to taxation that I had no choice in determining?
Remember the phrase, "No Taxation without representation?"
