Trump knows helicopters [1]

Donald Trump followed his disastrous news conference with a memorandum titled, "Immediate Assessment of Aviation Safety." It regurgitated exactly what he had said in the news conference and in a previous memorandum. It was all about DEI malfeasance in the FAA.
He followed that with four clips from the news conference that showed how smart he was, with headings saying how safe flying was because of him. Those were followed by a clip of Congressional questioning of Biden's nominee for Administrator of the FAA, Phil Washington, a Black man, who was and is the CEO of the Denver Internation Airport. He withdrew his nomination after 7 months of waiting for confirmation. The acting director was Billy Nolan, another Black man. Finally in Oct. of 2023, we got Michael Whitaker, who is white, on a 98-0 vote. The job had been unfilled for 19 months. Trump showing the clip was meant to show that Biden not only had DEI hires as air traffic controllers, but wanted one as the Administrator of the FAA.
The pilot of the plane was named Campos, so we're assuming he's Hispanic, the copilot of the plane and the pilot and the chief crew of the helicopter are white. What we don't know is the poor air traffic controller who was on the job alone after a supervisor let the second one, who would have covered either the helicopter or the plane, leave early. The point about race? Throwing DEI right back in Trump's face. It will be a long time before we find out about the controller, if ever. The other interesting report is that there were a total of 19 air traffic controllers working at Reagan International Airport. The Air Traffic Controllers Union said that it should have 30 air traffic controllers.
Then Trump posted a four message assortment from the New York Post and Elon Musk, and other garbage, like they were authorities on the subject.
He still believes that the FAA wants to hire dwarves. We've come to know that that's a politically incorrect word. They're now called little people or persons of short stature. The FAA would never have put dwarves in anything they wrote.
After explaining at the news conference that he knew all about helicopters and how the Black Hawk should have been able to see the plane, and being more maneuverable than a plane, be able to get out of the way, he just had to put his foot in it again.
He's still trying to cover for himself. He's not giving out any information that's come out since the crash. Like that the black boxes have been recovered from the plane.
He could have gone over the details of the people that were on the plane and on the helicopter, and again give thoughts and prayers for the families of those people.
But he just had to just pretend to be an expert without the information from the black boxes and all the videos shot of the accident from different angles.
"The Blackhawk helicopter was flying too high, by a lot." Usually he uses the phrase "by a lot" to describe all of the elections he's won, and lost. If he knew what the actual altitude of the helicopter was, why didn't he just say it? 200 ft is the limit for flying close to the Reagan International airport. Reports now say the helicopter was at 375 to 400 feet. Did he know this last night, and why is he guessing about it so early in the morning?
Then he has to go and insult everyone's intelligence by saying that it was not "really too complicated to understand, is it???" That's the first time I've ever seen him use three question marks.
No, Donald, it's not too hard for the public to understand that you're stupid, lying, and trying to cover up for your own inadequacies. We understood that all along.
