A Ukrainian drone attack has forced the shutdown of a Russian refinery in the Rostov region.
x 🛢️🚫 Novoshakhtinsk oil refinery, located in Rostov region, has now suspended operations after the attacks, — Head of CPD Kovalenko ❗️In 2024, it processed 3+ million tons of oil, although can process 7.5 million tons, but strikes prevented it from working at full capacity.

Yesterday I joked about wanting to see a drone big enough to carry a daisy cutter. It would probably need to be the world’s biggest drone.
Now we have a drone-dropped bomb that is 250 kilos. That would take at least a light plane converted to a drone.
The writing on the bomb below says “For Mykolaiv.”
x /1. What’s the most unique part of this attack on Russian oil pumping station is the unusual weapon system which was used for this operation. Russian Novozybkov oil pumping station was attacked by drone-dropped 250kg bombs - FAB-250 M-54.

This is close combat in the Kursk area filmed by Russian soldiers.
In the video the commander shoots at a Ukrainian Baba Yaga drone and yells at his men, who are cowering against a wall, and threatens acts of sexual aggression if they don’t fight.
x Action from the Kursk direction. Russians attempted to storm the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces but were pinned down by heavy fire from artillery, "Baba Yaga" UAVs, FPV drones, and Mavic-dropped munitions. As a result, half of them were either killed or wounded.

They should have surrendered.
x Operators of the 3rd Special Operations Regiment detected occupiers who had taken over a former Ukrainian dugout and decided to eliminate them. Ukrainian soldiers offered occupiers a chance to surrender, but they refused - so they received 13 kg of Semtex, a powerful plastic explosive.

Another 1,270 who should have stayed home.
Adios.

A Russian attack on Sumy killed at least nine.
x Sometimes the photos after russian attacks don’t even feel real. Like if it’s a set for some movie. It must be, brain goes, it’s too horrifying to be real. But it is. This is Sumy, 5 hrs drive from Kyiv. russian drone had just attacked a civilian apartment building. 7 people killed. 10 wounded.

And an ambulance.
Some Flex Tape should cover that big hole right up. The Kara Sea is north of Siberia.
Wait! Is an air-defense system supposed to be running away from a drone?
x Nemesis unit continues to bombard Russian air defense systems. This time we have a night chase with Russian TOR ADS. t.me/nemesis_412/...

A 2S7 Pion is a 203 mm self-propelled cannon.
x Aeronavty drone unit hit very rare targets - two 2S7 Pion self-propelled cannons. There are not many of these cannons left in the Russian army - a year ago, OSINT researcher HighMarsed suggested that the Russians had only 80-100 of them left in active service

Sweden steps up.
I saw another post on this that said Sweden was doubling the number of combat boots it was sending from 16 to 32 and thought that sounded kind of stingy.
x Sweden will double the amount of donated combat boats 90 from 16 to 32. The combat boats will also be aided with 23 weapons stations and 1 million 12,7 mm ammunition. Sweden will also send 👇
146 trucks
1500 TOW

Maybe they could meet in Sudzha.
x "Putin's squads" suggested a meeting between Trump and Putin in Russia. "If we are not stopped, we will end our march on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. We don't believe you, Trump, but if you come here, we'll see," they say.

DIY anti-drone warfare.
Yes, it accomplishes nothing militarily, but sometimes you just need to fuck with the enemy.
x National Guard soldiers raised the Ukrainian flag behind Russian lines in Donetsk Oblast. Under the cover of night, pilots from the "Chervona Kalyna" brigade of the National Guard used a drone to place the Ukrainian flag on a tower controlled by the enemy.

Russians from Kursk complain about the shitty condition of their roads.
x "Well, this is how we live in this mess." – Residents of Srednyaya Olshanka in Kursk Oblast complain about the deplorable state of the roads. Perhaps, if more was spent on roads and less on trying to seize a neighboring country, people wouldn’t have to live in such filth.

She has to scrounge through garbage to survive but she thinks Putin is doing a great job.
x A Russian woman says she thinks positively of Putin, believing that he has"gathered the remnants of the USSR" To survive with her pension, she has to go through garbage containers This is the paradoxical thinking of many Russians:praise Putin for his geopolitical successes while living in poverty

Some Russians seem to be fine with only looking while going grocery shopping.
x "Pensioners go to the store like it's a museum." - Russians on price hikes. Russian residents are increasingly noticing that rising prices turn shopping for pensioners into a kind of sightseeing tour, where buying many things becomes unaffordable.

Can you imagine the shit that would hit the political fan in the U.S. if mortgages were this expensive?
x Over 18 months into the Russian central bank’s spree of interest-rate hikes aimed at taming accelerating inflation triggered by massive government spending on the war, market rates for home loans now hover around an eye-watering 29%, with a minimum down payment of 30%.
