When We Fight We Win! Admin Backs Down and Rescinds Memo Freezing Grants! [1]

The Huffington Post is reporting that the Trump Administration is backing down!
The original order pausing federal financial assistance caused a political uproar and confusion among recipients of federal grants, and it had seemingly set the stage for a constitutional showdown. Instead, one of President Donald Trump ’s first big moves as president appears to have resulted in an epic climbdown.
HuffPost obtained the brief new memo canceling the previous one without explanation: “OMB Memorandum M-25-13 is rescinded.”
WASHINGTON ― The Trump administration on Wednesday rescinded a memo from the Office of Management and Budget pausing federal assistance grants.
So that’s two things that Trump has backed down from so far: The sanctions against Colombia and now this. It seems that when he gets fierce pushback from stronger leaders and when his policy is unpopular, he crumbles.
We could have had an actual strong leader as President, but even though we didn’t win the election, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t keep fighting the fight that started with the campaign. It wasn’t really a campaign for one woman, it was a campaign for the very soul and survival of our nation.
Do we (still) believe in Freedom! And are we ready to fight for it?
