The SHAME of #47: The Angry, Fragile, Brittle, Half-empty, See-through Glass Vessel. [1]

Let us expand this a bit:
ANGER is a personal decision, one of the responses to being shamed, earlier in a person’s life. There are two paths out of shame: the first is to gain expertise in the subject that gave rise to the event, such that the person will have an answer that will not lead to shame. The alternate path is to be unwilling - or unable - to put in the required effort to achieve the expertise, but instead to become an angry bully, to get the “shamer” to back off, and not ask any more searching questions. As part of the “protection”, the actions that gave rise to the criticism are “pro j ected” outwards, in other words, it is everyone ELSE’s fault for the failure.
To mollify his own ego, the bully becomes a narcissist (*), whose every action is “perfect” (where have we heard THAT before?).
As an aside, the new VP, with his great “appreciation” for women, announced that wives in abusive marriages, should just stay in them, and put up with the abuse. I would suggest that, with a world population of around EIGHT BILLION, if one person hates you, you can just turn around, walk away, and find someone else, who feels very positive about you.
However, what happens when you cannot escape from the entity that hates and despises you, more than EVERYone else on the planet? You spend your life trying to justify yourself to that entity and to the world, that you have the best judgment, that you are the most intelligent, most successful confidence trickster, and most loved (especially by every dictator in the world). But it doesn’t help, because that ONE entity KNOWS that it is not so. So you are permanently disdained and denigrated, without respite, and therefore you remain angry, and will make the world suffer because of the “retribution” you are bringing. But, for all the pain you inflict, it doesn’t hurt you, because your hatred is radiated outward, and you, personally, feel none of that pain (**). Therefore you have to inflict more, but only ON OTHERS, because you cannot take any criticism, or jokes at your expense. Were any of this to get through, your fragile ego would shatter into a million pieces.
So, who/where is this entity that hates and despises #47 so much? It is, actually, his own subconscious — it detests him and his antics, and will NEVER be fooled by the antics or the lies. So, guess what? In his mind, there IS, indeed an “Enemy Within!” But, he cannot admit that the “enemy within” is ACTUALLY in his OWN HEAD! He HAS to blame some other shady, undefined entity, somewhere OUTside of himself!
See-through (= Transparency): All criminals perpetrate their crimes (whether petty or on a grand scale) because they believe they won’t be caught, but when they are, they rail at the entire legal system; the police that arrest them, the juries, (grand or other) that find them guilty, the judges that sentence them. How much of the message gets out, is dependent on the size of the megaphone in the miscreant’s hand.
Let us understand where #47 is coming from: His own subconscious goes through the catalog of his deeply negative psyche. Immediately, he protects himself by accusing others of having those “qualities”: Muslims, rapists, murderers, child cannibals, infectious diseases, “the Deep State,” Democrats, free press, sources of knowledge (libraries, encyclopedias), the list is never-ending. He collects invertebrates (= the GOP) around him, who will bend to his insane ideas, and who will never appear “brighter” than he.
To summarize, his feelings of inferiority are so deep that he needs to act the Strong Man to stop from drowning in the accusations of his own subconscious.
He is not religious; instead, the old adage applies: “He is a self-made man, who worships his creator.”
BTW, anyone see the People Magazine’s photo of all the presidents and their families, paying homage to the late President Jimmy Carter? All there, near the coffin, placed their hands over their hearts, with only TWO exceptions: Mr. and Mrs. #47.
Thus, we are surprised that religious groups like the Evangelicals turn to him as their “Savior.” They have been conned (again, see (*)), like everyone else who comes under his “magic spell.”

(*) I have an unwelcome “honorary doctorate” in understanding and dealing with a narcissist, having been married to one for seven years. Yup, like so many of #45’s close associates, I was thrown “under the bus.” Once, my narcissist said to me, “Whenever anything goes wrong, I immediately look around for someone to blame!” But, of course, NEVER looked in the mirror! It took another 13 years, and HUGE legal fees, to finally get the monkey off my back. Yup, I was conned, in the same way that tens of millions of voters have been conned by “#47.” One can only hope that it doesn’t take that long for America (and the world) to wise up to this self-hating, mentally ill, evil person. As he deports others, could one, I wonder, exile him? Maybe his autocratic dictator friends would clasp him to their bosoms.
(**) Remember the Opus Dei character in Dan Brown’s “The Da Vinci Code”, who wore a garter of “thorns,” which would dig into his flesh and cause him physical pain?
