Citizens are engaged in a game of high stakes “ Dude, Where's My Country?!”
Trump dominates every single news cycle. Maybe not sports yet but that will come soon enough.
The goal is to create chaos, sow confusion, keep Citizens off balance and divert attention. He accomplishes all of the above every single day.
As long as Citizens play his game we will lose. The longer he keeps us playing the more we will lose.
In just a couple of weeks Trump has forced the Institutional Ds to publicly confirm their impotence, repeatedly violated provisions of the Constitution and Federal law, actively put the entire nation at risk, summarily abandoned international treaties and obligations and threatened international war.
Erratic as Trump is and as obviously flawed as he constantly demonstrates, himself to be, none of this is by chance. If or when Trump accomplishes 10% of what he has announced Citizens will live in a different country. At 25% it will be unrecognizable. Any more than that who knows?
Our oligarchs and other self identified elites control national government and almost half of government at the state levels. Our avowed christfascists in their employ are actively rewriting the entire social contract for every Citizen of every class in every jurisdiction.
The tyranny is real, it is here right now.
The absolute least Citizens can do is stop making it so damn easy for the tyrants.
