Did You Catch 'The View' this AM? [1]

Today’s “The View” was an epiphany for me. Whoopi started with reminding all of us that if Trump were after criminals, would he not start with those already arrested, tried and convicted of felonies on US property? Easy to collect—review prison records and give American taxpayers a break from the high cost of incarcerating a person (some $50k—$300+k annually) [USAFacts]. I don’t know of a single American who would object to deporting any convicted felon back to their stated home country—especially when you figure in the cost of incarceration.
Their guest today was Gretchen Whitmer, Democratic Governor of Michigan. Seemingly forever calm and collected, she listened carefully to the people who elected her and fixed “the damn potholes” right off the bat. With a safisfied population, she was then able to quickly move on to other seemingly more important projects. It seems logical to me that a big and repairable project that affects many voters and the fix is cheap, safe, visible and actually reduces costs to voters, would be a gift.
Then, Witmer blew me right out of the water: she said our most porous border is NOT our southern border with Mexico! I gasped, focused on her image on the TV, and she continued. The most porous border in the continental US is Michigan’s northern border with Canada. Noteworthy the cultural, languages, etc. differences!
