The Crack in the Liberty Bell Deepens: US Constitution Scrubbed from the White House Website [1]

Bill Addis’s January 24th post about the disappearance of .gov web pages and the scrubbing of the US Constitution from the White House website triggered me to check out the WH website for myself. The new WH website is fully as dark and disturbing as he said it was. To my complete lack of surprise, the new WH website is all about Orange Julius and his fascist vision for the future of America. The whole site is now a blur of nativist propaganda and tRump-focused PR. It’s truly Orwellian in how it represents the convicted felon-in-chief’s Big Brother aspirations. The underlying message is “I alone can fix America, so you suckers—er, voters—don’t need to know anything about anything except what I tell you and how I am the GOAT.”
Given tRump’s imperial ambitions, I expected him and his thought police to do this just as they did when he first took office in 2017. No surprises here. Like fascist and imperial leaders before him, he strives to erase all information and knowledge not controlled or approved by him from public view.
Luckily, Mango Mussolini and his minions can’t scrub the US Constitution from the US Archives website without stirring up a firestorm of opposition and lawsuits. He and/or they must know that not even the corrupt Federalist Society SCOTUS could find legal justification for that level of theofascist censorship.
Another source of uncensored information about the Constitution and other US founding documents is the nonprofit National Constitution Center. It’s located at 525 Arch Street, Philadelphia, PA, and its web address is constitutioncenter.org.
The tRump regime’s attempt to memory-hole all information about federal and other resources that can help America’s freedom-loving majority (which, remember, did not vote for this clown) will fail in the era of ubiquitous access to uncensored online information. We must use this information to pour sand in the gears and sugar in the fuel tank of tRump’s theofascist political machine.
Educate and inform yourselves, your families, and your communities about how governments in America (should) work—information formerly taught in public school civics and US history classes (admittedly inadequately). Use your knowledge to help truth-bomb the purveyors of theofascist propaganda, including the insurrectionist leader in the Oval Office.
Resist all ignorance and misinformation. GOTV in 2026 and 2028. Aluta Continua!
