It’s now pretty clear that there won’t be any kind of future for the previously-existing criminal cases against the guy who is purportedly the president now. So I guess it’s time to drop that particular countdown. Or count-up, as the case may be.
But the clock is still running on our latest Continuing Resolution, which now has just 47 days remaining until the next time government funding expires, possibly resulting in a government shutdown.
It’s now just 1,454 days until what’s purported to be the end of Trump’s last term in office.
It’s time for our first Trump II Era weekend roundup, with Greg Dworkin!
And as usual, Trump makes it feel like there’s no weekend, blustering and blundering straight through into each successive week.
We’ll tell you all about it. Pull up a chair, and have one of your last tariff-free cups of coffee. Or maybe not! Ha ha! Policy is very dumb, now!
