Itzl Alert Network: Tuesday, 28th of January, 2025: Fictional Story Ends, the Real Journey Begins [1]

I am making this the last chapter of my fictional story.
But the actual journey to get out the vote, in the real world, is just beginning.
The little dog is named Itzl. As you can see by Itzl's concerned look, this group is for us to check in at, to let people know we are alive, doing OK, and not affected by such things as heat, blizzards, floods, wildfires, hurricanes, tornadoes, power outages, or other such things that could keep us off Daily Kos. If you're not here, or anywhere else on Daily Kos, and there are adverse conditions in your area (floods, heatwaves, hurricanes, etc.), we are going to check up on you. If you are going to be away from your computer for a day or a week, let us know here. We care! IAN is a great group to join, and a good place to learn to write diaries. Drop one of us a PM to be added to the Itzl Alert Network anytime! We all share the publishing duties, and we welcome everyone who reads IAN to write diaries for the group! Okay.
Youffraita and her roommate need to get on the train somewhere in southeast Colorado, and head east to Newton, Kansas.
They will get on a nice bus there in Newton, that will take them south to Wichita, to visit Uncle Mark.
At the same time, Mort will go from Louisiana to San Antonio, Texas, to meet the west coast group:

All those nice folks will then head north, through Fort Worth, and on to Oklahoma City.
At that point, they will all get on a nice Amtrak bus, and head north to Wichita, Kansas, to visit Uncle Mark.
(I once had planned me a trip from Wichita to Fort Worth and found out at that time that Amtrak runs a bus from Oklahoma City to Newton, to meet that other east-west train.)
At this same time, the following group will head from Chicago to Wichita:

I have eaten there many times.
They have a big enough dining room for us, I think.
Then, the next day, we will all head off to Wyoming.

It looks like we will all head east, as far as Galesburg, Illinois, then head west, through Omaha and on to Denver.
That gets us close to Wyoming.
Maybe Amtrak has a bus to get us into Wyoming.
But we will need to split up and use rented minivans, for most of the travel from town to town, to knock on all the doors in Wyoming.

In my fictional story, we find, in advance, by using the internet, we find about 1,000 volunteers who either live in Wyoming, or who can join us there.
If we have teams of two volunteers per team, we will have about 500 teams.
If each team knocks on 10 doors per day, for 100 days, that is 500,000 doors.
Ha!
That charming horse from Florida will say, “Vote Blue!”
Maci will say, “Vote Blue!”
And all the other pets and their humans will join in:
“Vote Blue!”
And Uncle Mark, and 500 others, one on each team, will record all those interactions at all those doors, and post it all on YouTube.
So, every voter in Wyoming, and every voter who sees the videos on YouTube, will vote blue!
And we will win all the elections, from now on!
City elections, county elections, state elections, and federal elections.
That journey, the journey to all those victories, that is the journey that is just getting started.
