Trump lies about inauguration ratings [1]

It really is too funny. I predicted that Trump was going to lie about his television ratings for his inauguration. He couldn't have a crowd, so he had to have "alternative facts" ratings.
This doesn't look like it was written by Donald. But he told them to put it out anyway.
So first I went to Streams Charts. I total that at 3.797 million.
Then, the streaming chart. Looks like 704 thousand to me. Streams Charts says it sets a "personal" record. That's for his YouTube channel. That's not the 9.6 million claimed. Stream Charts claims the 9.6 million is from the YouTube News section with 2,727 channels. That sounds ridiculous, but I have no way to counter it. Streams Charts appears to the only streaming statistics accumulator in the business. Searching for "Trump inauguration" brought up no results. Just clicking on the YouTube icon brought up 9.2 million viewers, but not what they were viewing at the moment. Possibly I don't know how to use Streamscharts.com. To get anything past that search field costs money. Some single options are $500 a month. Oddly, there isn't a Wikipedia entry for them. They say that they've been in business for 5 years and there's no streaming data I can find on Biden's inauguration.
How about the Nielsen ratings? The company that invented the rating system probably is pretty accurate. You'll notice the Nielsen ratings weren't mentioned at all. Just "TV viewership. Nielsen shows a total TV audience for Trump of 24.5 million. Joe Biden in 2021 was 33.7 million. In 2017, Trump had 30.6 million. It looks like Trump lost 6 million people between 2017 and 2025. I wouldn't call that the greatest of all time. It's 9 million less than Joe Biden got.
The X account views I have no way of verifying. Checking news reports about the ratings simply parrot Trump's Truth Social post or show a screenshot of it. Streams Charts didn't have any figures. I looked. Considering how easy it is for X to get overloaded, I don't believe it. Remember the Ron DeSantis debacle? The attempted users crashed the system, and it was only audio, not video. It ran smoothly at 40,000 and eventually handled 100,000. Could you possibly believe that 36.7 million people were watching him on the internet through X? Amazon Prime could handle it, but X? 33.6 million views doesn't mean simultaneously, either. I just don't think that's possible for X. Elon Musk is way too cheap to have that kind of equipment and connection. Again, remember the audio only of Ron DeSantis.
Okay, I'm convinced. His staff made it up to make him look good.
So they use the X views in their total to come up with 80 million people. It didn't happen. That many people didn't even vote for him.
Ronald Reagan's ratings in 1981 were 42 million people. But that was before the internet existed. It was just real TV viewers. Broadcast TV and cable. Much less population too. That was a hell of a good rating.
So once again, Trump has to boast about the size of his crowd. But this time it's not the ones in person, it's the ones watching him on TV and streaming.
The only verifiable information is Nielsen. They say Donald's was smaller than his first inaugural and nine million less than Joe Biden. Sorry, Donald. Considering how audiences are now split in so many ways with live, on demand, and streaming, you did worse than you did in 2017. And Joe Biden tops both of your inaugurations. That reality is why you have to lie
