I am well aware that the purpose of this site is to elect more, and more effective, Democrats. However, imagining the movement against Trump as the wholly-owned property of the DNC is not what I have been getting at, in fact, I am inclined to believe it would have to be a grassroots effort ( inclusive as far as the participants want to restore Democracy), that does not attempt to force an ideological laundry list on the participants, with people coalescing around a several demands or goals.
In other countries, when such mass movements form, often they are filled out by a coalition of groups. Sometimes it is just college students spearheading it, and the wider citizenry follows. If the Democrats want to do something, maybe our senators can stop voting to approve maniacs in federal leadership positions….
