The Party of 'Law and Order'? [1]

I guess it's time to discard a few more of the Republican Party's 'potemkin' facades... those manufactured edifices they hide behind, while they go about the business of funneling society's wealth, and working folk's labor, to the billionaire class.
Yes, the party of 'law and order' and 'back the blue' has decided it's no longer worth the effort to maintain those charades, now that the coup has come to fruition, and the billionaires are already guaranteed the cash.
I'm talking of course about the pardons.
To cite just one example (with hundreds just as violent and egregious), consider the case of Daniel Rodriguez, one of the 1500+ rioters trump just freed from prison.
Rodriguez, a member of the "PATRIOTS 45 MAGA Gang" pleaded guilty to felony conspiracy, obstruction of an official proceeding, tampering with documents or proceedings, and inflicting bodily injury on officers using a deadly or dangerous weapon.
The 'bodily injury' charge derived from him repeatedly tasering Metropolitan Police Officer Michael Fanone in the neck with a stun gun, as he lay helpless on the ground. Fanone suffered a heart attack and a traumatic brain injury during the attack.
Rodriguez then bragged about his actions in a Telegram chat, stating... “Omg I did so much f---ing s--- [right now] and got away... Tazzed the f--- out of the blue.”
Today he's a free man, along with all the others, no doubt anxious to participate in the next scheduled riot or neo-fascist event, knowing that no matter what they do, no matter who they maim or kill or terrorize, or the damage they inflict, there will be zero consequences as long as trump is in office.
And the thing is... none of this is a surprise. It's exactly what trump said he would do, repeatedly, prior to the election.
So thanks trump supporters*. You really outdid yourselves this time around.
What a swell society you envision. Roving bands of (armband wearing?) thugs looking to intimidate and terrorize; corporations and billionaires free to pillage and plunder; a theocratic cabal utilizing the state to impose its beliefs on all; with the ultimate goal being a one party dictatorial rule.
You know... FREEDOM!!
Gotta be proud.
*[For the non-maga Republicans... sorry for the 'broad brush'. I've tried to remain strictly focused on maga up to now, but your vote counted exactly the same as theirs. As I've been saying for many years: you're only as good as those you ride with.]
