Are these the dogmas of a faithful member of “Trumpianity,” and any deviance from which is shameful and will throw you contemptuously out of the true believers?
The Creed of Trumpianity
1. Trump is absolutely right, and never can regret
a. he can shoot someone on Fifth Avenue and get my vote
2. Public schools indoctrinate children
a. into both liberalism and sexual deviance
3. everybody should have guns to defend themselves
4. immigrants are mostly bad people
5. poor people are parasites and make themselves weaker with these so-called safety nets Social Security, snap, and the like
6. vaccinations are more dangerous than worthwhile
7. science is untrustworthy scientists are (bad) liberals
8. decisive executive action and Christian nationalism win the admiration of foreign countries
9. our founders were Christians who used Christianity to found a Christian nation
10. anyone who disagrees with us is to be treated with contempt
11. the Bible is altogether important but not its teachings
12. there are too many regulations – and any regulation is generally bad
13. liberalism has destroyed our country
14. economics that help the working man are false – only the smart individual free of regulations – is the perfect economic program
15. only Fox news tells the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth
16. the country is in bad shape and anything (however amoral) is better than anything we have right now
17. morality is a drag on the greatness of our country
a. there are only two sexes
18. foreign countries should do what we want because we know best
19. states and private corporations can do anything better than the government does
and always attack the Messenger, not the Message.
