Are We Being Trolled? Unit commander is not a Base commander. Karma two MAGA. [1]

Two stories currently in the Top Stories smell of BS to me. The presently top story,

Sorry, while many can confuse a ‘to’ for a ‘too,’ or think they typed a letter and didn’t, nobody mixes up the number two for the preposition.
Next we have a story of a female fighter pilot having her application denied.

This is false in the sense that, be the story true, you don’t deny the application, you pull your endorsement. What gets me though is the wording suggests this commander is both a unit commander and an installation commander. No such position exists. A unit commander would be a squadron commander while a base commander is a post initial command tour Captain. Additionally, a squadron answers to both an Air Group with the Carrier Air Group Commander, another Captain, in charge and to the Strike Fighter Wing with a Commodore, a senior Captain, in charge. Under such circumstances, said pilot would immediately go over said unit commander to CAG and/or Commodore. Again, a Unit commander is not an Installation commander.
These smell of false narratives peddled to us to create outrage.
