Dear Republicans,
Kindly STFU with your incessant whining about alleged lack of qualifications / meritless “DEI” hires. You know, the warped and proudly racist, imaginary world in which some of your congressional Representatives — looking at you, anti-environment extremist Rep. Harriet Hageman (R-WY) and Tim Burchett (R-TN) for starters — had the nerve to state that the sitting Vice President of the United States and Democratic presidential candidate was a “DEI” candidate / Vice President. Implying that one of the most qualified, intelligent, and competent candidates we have ever had was in fact not qualified for the job and indeed, was only where she was because of the color of her skin.
Yeah, you can now just STFU about all that. Forever.
Unless something drastically changes in the next 12-18 hours, you chickenshit, spineless cowards and profoundly unpatriotic assholes are about to confirm Pete Hegseth, quite probably the most unadulterated, staggeringly unqualified and manifestly unfit, morally bankrupt nominee to head the Pentagon we have ever had. Someone whose past record of inept financial management of 2 nonprofits wouldn’t justify him being hired to manage a small lemonade stand, let alone the biggest government agency we have. Whose track record of alleged rape, sexual assault, and abuse of women is well known. Whose stories of being a drunken ass in public are highly suggestive of someone with a major alcohol problem and the maturity and temperament of a 6 year old. Whose support for and defense of sick war criminals / murderers alone should be disqualifying. Whose alleged ties to white nationalist groups also speak for themselves.
This scumbag is the poster child of “White DEI,” with the only difference from your racist and idiotic “DEI” attacks being that, unlike the targets of your attacks, the vast majority of whom are perfectly qualified for their positions, Hegseth really is catastrophically unqualified. And a disgrace to the institution he will be asked to “lead.”
All credible indications suggest that he’s a risk to our national security, a lying thug, a misogynist, very likely a serial sexual offender, a violent abuser of women, and a morally bankrupt POS. And you dear Republicans — especially those in the Senate — disgrace the offices you hold, prove that you don’t take your jobs seriously, and that your “standards” — legal, professional, moral, ethical — for the most important positions that we have in government are nonexistent, apart from one. Does the nominee in question have the support of a corrupt seditious coup leader and convicted felon who stains the House he currently squats in and who is already seeking to ruin and corrupt the government he supposedly “leads?”
So you’ll forgive me if I treat your opinions about any future nominees with the contempt they richly deserve. For anything. Any at all. So yes, just STFU about DEI, you chickenshit cowards.
