We're Doomed....NOT! [1]

I hereby propose a separate section for people who believe they have the power to predict a dark future of totalitarianism in which we irrevocably lose. They can use that section to stew in terror and helplessness, but please please stop bringing that shit here. Tactically, this sort of compulsive ruminating is less than useless. We may all be doomed, but it will only be because our side seems to excel at sinking into dread with poetic flair RATHER than get off our collective duffs to do even one action from the comfort of their armchairs that isn’t voting. I am not sure what it means, but the activists I know actually feel less despair the more they take concrete actions, and the more that they notch a few victories ( however seemingly small).

As Bernie Sanders said: “Don’t Panic.” He is correct. It serves no purpose...get out and do something, if you can...
