Fraternal Order Of Police Proves That It Is Filled With Idiots And Hypocrites Over Jan 6th Pardons. [1]

I don’t know any cops personally. I used to have a lot of respect for the police. And I don’t want to paint all cops with the same brush, but I know by their actions that the leadership of the police union — Fraternal Order of Police of FOP — is made up of extreme right wing zealots who are too damn stupid and hypocritical to realize they have helped create the monster that is the second Trump presidency. Seems that FOP is “deeply discouraged” by Trump’s pardoning of all Jan 6th insurrectionists.

The IACP and FOP firmly believe that those convicted of such crimes should serve their full sentences. Crimes against law enforcement are not just attacks on individuals or public safety —they are attacks on society and undermine the rule of law. Allowing those convicted of these crimes to be released early diminishes accountability and devalues the sacrifices made by courageous law enforcement officers and their families. When perpetrators of crimes, especially serious crimes, are not held fully accountable, it sends a dangerous message that the consequences for attacking law enforcement arenot severe, potentially emboldening others to commit similar acts of violence.

I guess paying off a porn star and breaking campaign financing laws is not serious to the FOP. Trump was convicted of that crime, and it was made official by a judge who decided it wasn’t worth the effort to sentece Trump to jail, even though another man served time for that very same offense.
And because it was ONLY a civil liability, I guess commiting rape is no biggie either to the FOP.
And all those government files that Trump stole and left out for just about anyone to see at MAL? Sheeeit! Who cares?
And it wasn’t like Trump promised last year that he would pardon all those “patriots” and “political prisoners” who attacked police that day on Jan 6th, 2021. Oh yeah. I forgot. HE DID PROMISE TO DO JUST THAT!
For so called police, the FOP sure can’t see the forest for all those damn trees.
The FOP endorsed Trump over a real prosecutor who actually fought criminals. The FOP didn’t want to have to deal with some pushy black woman for president, so they happily endorsed a criminal. Well, they got a criminal who doesn’t give a shit about cops for president. They willfully blinded themselves with their racism, bigotry, and stupidity to what Trump would do in a second term.
Fuck the FOP.
