Articles of Impeachment for Pres. Trump as of Jan. 22, 2025 [1]

1. He pardoned and commuted the sentences of hundreds of people who committed insurrection on his behalf on and leading up to Jan. 6, 2021.
2. He ordered the Department of Justice to stop efforts to charge anyone not yet charged who committed insurrection on his behalf on and leading up to Jan. 6, 2021.
3. He directed the federal government to defy the constitutionally-mandated recognition of citizenship for those born in the USA.
4. He effectively blocked foreign people from exercising their right to apply for asylum, as guaranteed by treaty and law.
5. He fired competent law enforcement and espionage officials and replaced them with incompetent people and people with a high likelihood of loyalty to foreign and private interests over those of the American public.
6. He withdrew from the Paris Agreement and retracted other policies on the natural environment with the clear intent to allow continued and increased industrial emissions that will accelerate global warming and pollution, with existentially-harmful impact upon people, wildlife, and natural beauty for generations to come.
An article of impeachment is an offense of office (or negligence of duty) that on its own merits banishment from office.
Ideas for additional articles as well as refinements and additional points for completeness are welcome. Likewise ideas for articles of impeachment for other officials.
Any member of the House of Representatives who does not support and pursue these known and true articles of impeachment is abrogating the oath of office.
