Am I the only one OK, sort of, with this? [1]

Look, I get it. Felonious is saying and doing stupid shit. It's enraging. The thing is, the former is just not worth the bandwidth, and the latter was to be expected.
I don't care about the former, i.e., his birthright citizenship EO, and quite frankly most Americans don't either. I don't care because it's meaningless. I mean, he coud sign an EO saying he can run for a third term and it would have as much weight. Most Americans don't care because they are too dumb to realize they have skin in the game
With regard to the stupid shit he is doing, we knew it was coming, and what the consequences would be. We warned of them, so why the the uproar?
On one level, I welcome them. Sure, people in the 'less than human category' will be hurt, and that is shameful, but that's the point of his policies. In the process, the economy and Americans writ large will suffer as well which is, well, good.
That sentiment isn't about wishing ill or punsishment. It's about consequences. Consequences are how we learn.
My understanding is that he's started rounding up migrant farm workers. I say good. I want him to fulfill his promises in that regard. I want him to wreck the food production and processing sector.
I also want the left to drop the social warrior aspect of his policies as their central focus. He wants that to deflect from the economic consequences. Focus on raw selfishness instead because we've learned empathy doesn't appeal to the American voter anymore.
Eggs and produce are going up in price. Sure, egg prices have more to do with the Avian Flu, but so what? It's all inflationary. Where are the agencies meant to deal with it? Have they been DOGE-ed?
Then there's the Laken Riley Bill. Kudos to AOC and Crockett, but to be honest, average Americans don't care about the facts and fairness. What I want to know is who were the Senate Democrats who voted for it? Where was the filibuster?
To be clear, I am not one who wants to bash Democrats writ large. That's what the right wants. I am saying attack the weak links.
At anyrate, I am getting too old for outrage over fascists. They are here, and outrage has had no effect on the perceptions of voters. The only thing that will affect those perceptions are consequences.
Let them begin.
