What a day, What a day. A Colorado Open Thread, 1/20/2004. Did Anything Happen Today? [1]

I chose to ignore today for the most part. Slept through it. I fed, medicated, and walked the dogs, had to go rescue my cocker spaniel who couldn’t make it back to the gate because she was too frozen to walk back (it was a shade below zero degrees and she just gave me this pitiful look and sat down on the pavement of “Dad, I just can’t make it so can you come get me”, and yes, I was so happy the 85 pound aussie-doodle was just fine, fed the cats and birds in the morning, then went back to bed. Got up again again around 4 PM, fed and medicated and walked the dogs again and fed the wild birds. Took my medicine and went back under the covers again and tried to decide what to do.
No way was I going to watch the Inauguration and see any plaudits of Trump. No way am I going to see any football today. Being an alum of the University of Michigan (OHHOWIHATEOHIOSTATE) and I ALMOST EQUALLY HATE THE NOTRE DAME PRISSY FIGHTING GOLDEN DOMER FIGHTING IRISH, well, that might give you an idea of how much I would love both teams to lose tonight’s college football championship tonight, with the exception that it gives me an exception that my team was perfect in going 16-0 last year beating Ohio State last year and neither team can exceed that record this year and Michigan beat Ohio State this year so even IF Ohio State wins the Championship this year, they still have the asterisk of having done it without having done it without having beaten Michigan so HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!.
Oh well. I am going to watch old movies, reruns, and DVR shows.
