January 20, 2025 - So THIS was American Democracy? [1]

I wrote and published the below-referenced diary on January 20th, 2017 in anticipation of what I knew at the time to be the eventual forthcoming death knell of that “Great experiment” called America. My estimation of the timing was off; I could not have anticipated Joe Biden’s election — nor could I have foreseen the complete and immoral collapse of the so-called “Justice” system as it gave rape, tax fraud, election interference and Secret Federal Document theft a pass for fear of fascist retribution during Biden’s entire time as President. So now we have a new act performing for us — four years, rested and refreshed — The 2025 Fascist and Oligarch Retribution Tour.
And perhaps I had mis-titled the diary anyway. I thought I was angry then… and now eight years later...
Requiem For A Nation - January 20, 2017
Since at this point all I’d be doing writing material on this site is repeating myself, I’m going to crawl back into my cave for awhile, get some rest and try to figure out how to “resist” without getting myself killed or sentenced to life in prison.
