FUN FACT: Stupid Women Are Not Hot! [1]

A few years ago, Trump attorney Alina Habba said, “Somebody said to me ‘Alina, would you rather be smart or pretty?’ and I said ‘Oh easy, pretty… I can fake being smart.’”
In fact, Habba can’t fake either. She looks as plastic as all the surgery she’s had. And her legal gaffs are now legendary. It’s the second one that makes her so offputting to me. Still, her inane comment served to reinforce something I realized about myself long before Habba was even born.
When I was younger, I dated a few beautiful women. One of these women stands out above the others, which is curious because we had only one dinner together. Yet it was noteworthy because it was both the worst date and the best date I ever had.
We worked for the same company, and all the single men who worked there thought she was gorgeous. But none of them asked her out. I’m not sure why they didn’t. She wasn’t the least bit aloof or standoffish. In fact, she was friendly with everyone.
So I did. And with a genuine smile, she said yes.
I picked her up, and on the way to a wonderful restaurant, we chatted away, engaging in small talk about co-workers, the weather, movies, and other things that don’t really matter much.
During the meal, I began to talk about some weightier subject. As Istarted to discuss it, I noticed a change in her expression, one that triggered an awareness which sticks with me to this very day.
Her wide-eyed face, beautiful as it was, was telling me that I was rapidly approaching the outer boundaries of her intelligence, and that by the time I got to the end of my sentence, I would have blasted past that boundary. At that moment, I was struck by the realization that no matter how physically beautiful a woman might be, if she wasn’t smart, she wasn’t for me. The date couldn’t have ended soon enough. But I basked in the self-discovery that served me for the rest of my life.
It’s simply this: No stupid woman is hot. Not one.
