Border Patrol Agent Shot Dead in VT [1]

This afternoon at 3:15 and interstate 91 was shut down for a while. I guess it was between Derby and Orleans. Someone said the suspect was also killed and that it was an immigration issue but I didn’t read that from news sources yet.

Once when returning from hiking on the other side of Lake Champlain in NY I remember them diverting everyone on the interstate to a pull off and being asked two questions or so. There were four of us, the German guy was silent, he he. I think that was in 88 or 89. There is traffic down from Montreal.
