Sunday Morning Open Thread With Music from the Beatles' Blue Album (1967-1970) [1]

Good morning, crew. Today’s diary includes a few of the Beatles’ later hits. Okay, so they aren’t all the exact recordings that went into the making of their Blue Album but all these songs are all on it. In any case, I hope you enjoy them.

Its’s going to be a cold one here today. It’s only supposed to get up to about zero. I’m planning on staying inside. Except for feeding the birds, of course. I have to do that before dawn. They especially need fuel to withstand these cold temps. Everyone who frequents this series knows how much I care about my critters.
Speaking of critters, one or more of my cats has been tearing down the suede drapes I have over my living room picture window. Somebody has been yanking them clean out of those clip-on curtain rings. This old shack is so old and leaky that I freeze without a heavy covering on my larger windows. Seriously, the whole room felt much cozier once I made and hung those drapes. It’s quieter, too. They also save me on my propane bill. If only I could convince my cats of their benefits. But no. They have to look out the window in the middle of the night. Ergo, the drapes get yanked out of their way.
Anyway, that’s about it for my problems. Now on with the Beatles.
