Okay so we know Monday is going to be a horrible day. We know the next four years are going to be a nightmare. However as they say in one of my favorite movies Galaxy Quest "never give up, never surrender." So let's take a few minutes and see what positive tools we have to work with. I'll start.
I can still write. I am in the middle of my Steampunk novel. I just discovered a major plot twist that gives the reason for my main character's existence.
I can still cook. I will be publishing recipes diaries for quite a while. I have enough recipes for a second cookbook.
I should be able to get my computer up and running this week. This means I can finally get recipes out of journals and into cookbook form.
I can still do art. Once my desk is clear I can work on my new painting. A friend just sent a beautiful new Cats themed coloring book. That is my tomorrow project.
I have the Street Prophets family to watch my back. You have helped me through some of the hardest times in my life.
Most of all I have my 20 year old cat the Pampered Princess Pixie. She brightens up my life. She rules the roost.
So let us take a few moments and see what is positive in our lives. Once we do that then we will be pumped up and ready to fight. It is our future and we need to continue to make our voices heard. No one is going to take what is good in our lives away from us.
