Another Saturday Night: Contrast [1]

Welcome to another Saturday night of music, memories, and conversations. Last week we we had a running theme (thank you anotherdemocrat).
This week we're on the cusp of Martin Luther King Jr. Day while staring down the barrel of 4 years of of the great Oh Shit-ness. The contrast could not be more stark.
For a Theme I am suggesting songs that have contrast. It can be lyrically, dynamically, or any other
way you conceive of it.
To lead off, I am picking Tangled Up in Blue by Bob Dylan.
There is a ton of contrast in this song but verse 6 is where its at for me.
I lived with them on Montague Street
In a basement down the stairs
There was music in the cafes at night
And revolution in the air
Then he started into dealing with slaves
And something inside of him died
She had to sell everything she owned and froze up inside
And when it finally, the bottom fell out
I became withdrawn
The only thing I knew how to do
Was to keep on keeping on
Like a bird that flew
Tangled up in blue
